Guy Cahoon was an active and successful commercial artist as
early as 1916 in Dallas. He was active with the Dallas Allied Artists
creating memorable works of historical Dallas buildings and locales.
His solo exhibitions at Joseph Sartor Galleries in the 1930's and
his competitive entries in the State Fair competitions drew
attention to his skills as one of Texas' finest etchers.
